KITCHEN AMBITIONS

This family really enjoys cooking, and a wood-fire pizza oven was at the top of their list. A built-in- grill with a Green Egg was also a must. In the beginning we explored doing a three seasons room off the house, but realized that the cost and limited functionality was not cost effective. We concluded that just doing an outdoor living area would be more practical and functional in the long run. The project also included reengineering new retaining walls with steps to get to the backyard. The patio was made from a manufactured paver that had a larger footprint that was UV protected and pre-sealed. This project completely transformed their outdoor living space to match the renovation on the inside of this vintage 1930’s home.
