The biggest before and after of this project was the creation of usable, functional space. When we started there was just a concrete patio surrounded by an overgrown cliff that went down to the river. When the project was finished, there was an outdoor kitchen area, a patio space, a fire table gathering area, green-space for their dogs, and beautiful stairs that now give access to the river down below. We were able to design several levels that then created many viewing points of the river. We also went with a more natural look to help accentuate the Frank Lloyd Wright design of the house.
