A message from our founder

In 33 years, no two projects
have been the same.

Hi, my name is Dan Springhetti. Here at Springhetti Group, we build custom backyard resorts for you and your family. We're a multi-generational family business — three generations on the same crew.

Our team believes in having “old-school” relationships with our customers that go beyond just exchanging checks with your contractor. We want you to be able to refer us because we did what we said we would do.

We are faith-based, holding integrity, honesty, and transparency at the core of our business.

I am a visionary, and I use that gifting, along with my background in teaching, to educate and guide the customer in designing a project that is perfect for them and their property. In 33 years of business no two projects have been the same, solidifying our title as a “custom” outdoor living company. Our team creates quality work that really does speak for itself.

From design, to installation and project completion, we will leave our mark of creative excellence on all that we do.

Since 1993

Three generations,
one name on the sign.

In 1993, Dan Springhetti was teaching special education and landscaping on the side to stretch a teacher's pay. The weekend work outgrew the classroom. What started as a few accounts became a family trade — his father David on maintenance, his son Matt landscaping at nineteen. Three generations on the same crew.

The Post-Crescent ran the story in 2002. A great deal has changed since — the work is larger, the name now reads Springhetti Group. The terms haven't. Closed on Sundays. Family first. Do what you said you would do.

One team, one schedule

One team handles your whole property on one schedule, with one point of contact. No subcontractor scramble. No finger-pointing about who owns a problem. No three winters of construction.

Honest before the invoice

If the build can't be done well within your budget, you'll hear it in the first conversation — not discover it after the first invoice. We'd rather lose a project by being honest about what it costs than win it and let hidden expenses surprise you later.

Built to be referred

Most of our work comes from homeowners who saw a Springhetti project and asked who built it. That only happens if the work outlasts the handshake. We build for year twenty, not for the photo.
