Open With Confidence
After a long Wisconsin winter, your pool needs more than a quick cover removal. Springhetti helps homeowners and property managers open their pools safely, efficiently, and with the right startup process from the beginning.
Our team handles the heavy lifting, equipment setup, plumbing de-winterization, and initial startup chemicals so your pool is prepared for the season ahead.
Opening earlier helps reduce algae growth, cloudy water, and expensive chemical corrections later in the season.
We reconnect pumps, filters, heaters, plugs, and fittings so your system is ready to circulate properly.
Skip the wet cover, heavy lifting, and uncertainty of getting your pool system started after winter.

Common Questions
Not sure when to open your pool, what is included, or how long it takes before swimming? These answers help homeowners prepare for a smoother start to the season.
Most Wisconsin homeowners should aim to open their pool in late April to mid-May. Opening before Memorial Day is ideal because it gives the filtration system time to run and the water chemistry time to balance before warmer temperatures increase algae growth.
Waiting too long can lead to a “green opening.” As the weather warms up, stagnant water under the cover can become a breeding ground for algae. Opening earlier can help reduce shock chemicals, heavy cleaning, and delays before the pool is ready to enjoy.
No. You should not fully drain your pool without professional guidance. During the spring thaw, Wisconsin’s high water table can create problems for certain pools. In most openings, we remove winter plugs, top off the water level as needed, and start the filtration process.
Pool cleanings are not included with the standard Start-Up Only or Full Service openings. The Signature Pool Start Package includes three professional cleaning visits. Separate cleanings can also be scheduled after the water has circulated and chlorine levels have settled.
After the system is running and initial chemicals are added, we typically recommend waiting 24 to 48 hours for the water to circulate and balance. Some pools may need additional cleaning or treatment depending on winter debris, algae, or water condition.
